Washing in the pith wash bunker
Screened pith is processed through the pith wash bunker for controlled washing and leaching. The washing stage prepares the material for horticultural substrate production.

Moisture management
After washing, excess water is managed before the pith enters the drying system, supporting more even and efficient downstream drying.

Automated covered drying
The washed pith is dried inside Hexagro's large covered facility using an automated airflow-supported process designed for controlled drying at production scale.

Final screening and quality checks
Dried pith is checked for cleanliness, consistency, and physical condition before it is approved for compression and packing.

Block compression and dispatch
Approved pith is compressed into transport-efficient blocks, packed to the confirmed order requirements, and prepared for bulk dispatch.
